WATTS TOWERS by Sam Rodia
the Watts Towers Arts Center

schedule and prices

general admission $ 7.00
seniors and young adults (13-17) $ 3.00
children 12 and under (accompanied by an adult) free

UPDATE

  • The Towers are 'scaffolded' for conservation / renovation.

  • Tours are conducted 'around' the open fence and our docents continue to provide historical and little known facts, etc., to our visitors for a discounted suggested donation of $5.

  • The Watts Towers Arts Center is still open with continued changing exhibitions, the current one being Paper & Prescience (an extraordinary display of pen & ink & cuttings that mimic laser cut design in the form of African-like mask mounted in shadow-box-like picture frames).

  • Incomparable Festivals coming the last weekend in September. The 27th Annual Watts Towers Day of the Drum and 32nd Annual Simon Rodia Watts Towers Jazz Festivals - the only festivals of their kind to continue in Los Angeles, drawing more than 5000 attendees both days (the crowd is always comfortable, village like, and up-spirited in celebration of the arts and music with vendors offering multi-cultural foods and goods, including artisans' handiwork for purchase at incredibly reasonable rates).
